don't hate me because I'm going to post something that isn't beautiful.

step 1: http://dahrjamailiraq.com
step 2: click on "images"
step 3: click on "tsunami of iraq"
step 4: weep, vomit, letter to a congressman?

Somehow I don't think that contacting a congressperson would do anything.

The war machine is doing a great job of hiding all these images of death from us. I think that if people were exposed to all the death and destruction that is taking place in Iraq, maybe, just maybe, we would think twice before going to war again.

Yeah, pictures of this nature are very distrubing no matter the motivation or cause behind the violence. Although I do not support our cause in this case, I don't think the media is turning a blind eye to the death that happens daily in Iraq. In fact, the number of casualties on our side is reported more acurately and quickly than almost ever before. Unfortunately though, we do not hear the reports of Iraqi deaths, and when we do, they are much less accurate and trustworthy due to one side's desire to inflate the numbers and the other side's desire to repress the reports altogeher. It is good that people are reporting the other side, even if it is hard to look at, as in this case.
